 About Lufuying
Lu Fuying, a native of Suzhou, Jiangsu, is a senior industrial artist of researcher level and a great master of crafts and arts in Jiangsu Province. In September 2006, she entered the Academy of Arts and Design, Tsinghua University, for the research of subject ¡°Fiber and Su Embroidery¡± as a domestic visiting scholar. She currently hold the posts of Deputy to the 14th NPC of Suzhou Municipality, Member of China National Arts and Crafts Society, Member of Arts and Crafts Association of Jiangsu Province, Director of Jiangsu Association of Women Enterprisers, Notable of Arts and Crafts in Jiangsu Province, Vice-chairman of Zhenhu Embroidery Association, and General Manager of Lu Fuying Su Embroidery Art Museum of Suzhou New& High-tech Development District.

 In March 1994, she won the honorary title of ¡°Capable Woman of Production¡± issued by the leading group of ¡°Dual Campaigns¡± Competition of Suzhou Municipality;

In March 2001, she was titled as one of ¡°Top 10 Outstanding Women¡± issued by Suzhou Women¡¯s Federation and Suzhou Human Resources Bureau;
In 2002, she won the honorary title of ¡°Notable of Arts and Crafts of China¡± issued by Artistic Sodality of Chinese Collectors;
In March 2004, she won the honorary title of ¡°Excellent Pioneering Women of Jiangsu Province¡± issued by Jiangsu General Labor Union and Women¡¯s Federation;
In March 2004, she won the honorary title of ¡°advanced Capable Woman of Jiangsu Province¡±Issued by Women¡¯s Federation of Jiangsu Province;
In March 2005, she won the title of ¡°Suzhou Folk Artist¡± jointly issued by office of Suzhou HR Leading Group, Arts and Crafts Association, Human Resources Bureau, Publicity Department of Suzhou Municipal Committee of the CPC, and Culture, Broadcast& TV Management Bureau.
In April 2006, she won the honorary title of ¡°Model Worker¡± issued by Jiangsu People¡¯s Government;
In March 2007, she won the honorary title of one of ¡°Hundred Starts in Ten Industries¡± Women Pacemakers issued by Suzhou Women¡¯s Federation;
In February 2008, she won the honorary title of The 4th Round of Master of Arts and Crafts of Jiangsu Province;
In June 2008, she won the honorary title of Senior Industrial Artist of Researcher Level.
